When someone causes you pain, it's natural to feel hurt and you might want to hold onto that pain. However, holding onto it serves no purpose. Instead, choose to release it by forgiving the person. Forgiveness is not about accepting their actions or saying it's totally fine. It's about freeing yourself from hating or thinking bad things about this person. By forgiving, you accept that what happened cannot be changed. You put yourself first and you forgive this person who hurt you because it's what's best for you. If you choose not to forgive, the only person you are hurting is yourself.

Thank you to all the men and women in this great country and overseas who keep us safe, who are serving and who we have lost. Changing our thoughts can be very hard at times. If you have been thinking in a negative way for awhile, it will take time to retrain your mind to think in a positive way. It can be hard and frustrating, but it will be worth it in the long run. Try it for the next 30 days. Don't be to hard on yourself when starting out, you will slip and think in a negative way. It will take time, don't give up.
